Project Introduction

Bandung Indah Plaza is one of the large shopping malls in Bandung City. This shopping mall is the oldest shopping mall in Bandung. The construction of Bandung Indah Plaza started in December 1989 and it was officially opened on August 19, 1990. It was called BIP and became the shopping symbol of Bandung at that time. Before that, Bandung people only knew the concept of department stores and supermarkets. It is located in the city center, Jalan Merdeka Bandung. With the emergence of BIP, this area was transformed from a city square area to a new leisure place, and it also became the beginning of the development of malls and shopping centers in northern Bandung (before, they were almost all in the south of Bandung, along the railway line).
